Job Overview

You are an experienced professional with expertise in implementing regulatory and compliance programs within the payment services industry.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring the business scales while managing risks. Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as Designated Compliance Officer for payment services licence applications
  • Designing and implementing regulatory frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations
  • Drafting and implementing policies, SOPs, systems, and internal controls for regulatory compliance programs
  • Managing relationships with regulators and partners, handling queries, clarifications, and addressing concerns arising from AML and compliance activities
  • Monitoring new services and product launches to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Leading audits of compliance and regulatory processes and procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in a regulatory compliance role
  • Prior experience in payments, fintech, banking, or financial institutions
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and understand business needs while ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Meticulous, detail-oriented approach
  • Positive attitude, consultative approach, and self-motivation
  • High work ethic and unlimited drive
  • Execution-minded, hands-on approach
  • Strong interpersonal and social skills
