Job Title: Strategic Planning Manager

At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Planning Manager to spearhead long-term corporate strategies for the Southeast Asia region.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for driving cross-functional collaboration to implement actionable initiatives across Southeast Asia and Japan.
  • Deliver strategic insights to senior leadership on industry trends, competitive positioning and emerging R&D opportunities.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior leadership with actionable recommendations for performance optimization and course corrections.
  • Monitor project progress, financial performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure that business objectives are met effectively.
  • Ensure clarity and consistency in project execution across all stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in business development, new venture creation, or entrepreneurship—preferably in Southeast Asia or emerging markets.
  • Proficiency in Japanese to liaise with Japanese-speaking stakeholders, clients, and Headquarters in Japan.
  • Deep understanding of the economic, social, and cultural dynamics in Southeast Asia, enabling tailored strategic planning.
  • Strong skills in market research, competitive analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to transform complex ideas into actionable strategies and incorporate them into product and service development.
  • Effective leadership and excellent communication skills to collaborate with engineering, product management, external partners, and internal departments.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work with diverse cultures within Southeast Asia.
