Pharmacy Support Professional

Job Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our pharmacy team as a skilled support professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely distribution of drugs, while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process medication orders for inpatient and outpatient dispensing with accuracy and efficiency
  • Provide courteous and professional service to all patients and customers
  • Count and sort patient's own medications with attention to detail
  • Monitor and maintain inventory stock levels of drugs, ensuring they are stocked up properly and tidily according to First-In-First-Out requirements
  • Liaise with internal and external parties to ensure seamless communication

Secondary Duties:

  • Perform billing functions with precision and timeliness
  • Supervise repackaging processes to ensure quality and safety standards are met

Requirements:

  • Minimum GCE 'O' level and/or Polytechnic Diploma (non-pharmaceutical studies) preferred
  • Proficient in using in-house computer systems
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and have good initiative
  • Effective communication skills
  • Able to function effectively as a member of a team
