Customer Relations Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Relations Specialist to join our team at the Consumers Association of Singapore. As a key member of our Consumer Relations department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to consumers who seek advice and/or redress for their contractual disputes with businesses.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, diplomacy, and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to handle a wide variety of consumer-to-business disputes in a timely manner. You will work closely with consumers and businesses to achieve an amicable resolution through negotiation and mediation sessions.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing complaints submitted by consumers, dealing directly with them over various channels.
- Providing advice to consumers on their contractual rights and options for seeking redress.
- Handling disputes, gathering relevant documentation, and facilitating negotiations to achieve a timely resolution.
- Performing other ad-hoc duties assigned, including generating statistics, reviewing complaint trends, coordinating mediation sessions, and supporting projects and initiatives.
You will also be required to possess a diploma or degree from a recognized tertiary institution, preferably with law-related courses. Strong writing skills, sound judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
