Our company seeks an experienced and skilled professional to fill the role of Junior Application Support Specialist.

This position requires collaboration with developers to ensure seamless application deployment and maintenance. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing timely and efficient support for Java J2EE applications, analyzing and resolving issues related to Unix commands, SQL queries, web applications, batch jobs, and databases like MariaDB and SQL.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and efficient support for Java J2EE applications to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Analyze and resolve issues related to Unix commands, SQL queries, web applications, batch jobs, and databases like MariaDB and SQL.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless application deployment and maintenance, communicating effectively to ensure project success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT or Computer Science: A bachelor's degree in IT or computer science is required.
  • Intermediate Knowledge and Hands-on Experience: Intermediate knowledge and hands-on experience with SQL and Linux is essential.
  • Eagerness to Learn and Perform Tasks with Commitment: Eagerness to learn and perform tasks with commitment is necessary.

Preferred Skills:

  • Job Scheduling and Setup: Knowledge of job scheduling, MQ setup, and C:D setup is preferred.
  • Experience with JBOSS and Shell: Experience working with JBOSS and Shell is desirable.
  • Banking Industry Exposure: Exposure to the banking industry is a plus.
