Technical Support Specialist Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Field Service Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to clients on-site.

  • Provide on-site technical support and maintenance services to clients, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and quality service delivery.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of equipment.
  • Strive to stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and advancements, and apply this knowledge to improve technical skills and overall service delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • Working experience in the semi-conductor industry, especially printed circuit board or packaging substrate industry, is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Willigness to travel to client sites, as required.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting and maintenance of large machines and equipment.
  • Japanese language proficiency is a great advantage for effective communication with Japan HQ and clients.
