Job Description

As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for conducting various laboratory tests, including Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) assays. You will assist in the analysis and interpretation of test results, collaborate with the laboratory team to ensure timely delivery of test results, and communicate findings to healthcare professionals.

You must be able to pipette accurately and have experience working with liquid handler platforms. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities are required.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Laboratory Science, Biotechnology, Life Science or a related field.
  • Experience and proficiency in Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, procedures, and equipment used in molecular biology and genetics.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow complex protocols and SOPs accurately.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Benefits

Working hours are Tuesday through Friday, 11 am to 8 pm, and Saturday, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. This position is open only to Singapore Citizens or Singapore PRs.

Others

This position requires prior experience in an NGS laboratory or clinical molecular testing lab. A minimum of 3 years of clinical lab experience is required.
