Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the bid team to ensure that our proposals meet the customer's requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, as well as the customer's needs and expectations.
  • Work closely with the bid manager and other stakeholders to ensure that our proposals are aligned with the company's overall strategy and goals.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks and opportunities to ensure that our proposals are competitive and meet the customer's requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders to ensure that our proposals meet their needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure that our proposals are technically sound and meet the customer's requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the customer's specification and standard solutions and products.
  • Work closely with the bid manager and other stakeholders to ensure that our proposals are aligned with the company's overall strategy and goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a technical bid management role, preferably in the rail industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of our products and services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate technical risks and opportunities.
