Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled researcher to lead the investigation of AI tracking of coastal structures with novel sensing and monitoring, environmental modeling, and environmental impact assessment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Experimental measurements and numerical simulations to train and validate AI tracking algorithms
  • Life cycle analysis to identify benefits of AI tracking
  • Field experiments in the coastal environment to collect good quality data
  • Organization of international meetings and forums (prior experience preferred)

The successful candidate will have:

  • A bachelor's degree in related areas with emphasis on AI-driven image recognition, environmental data analysis, experimental testing in the field and laboratory, hydrodynamic modeling, or relevant topics. A master's degree in civil engineering is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • An open mindset and a willingness to learn.
