Job Description:
CDC Ambassadors are responsible for supporting the Community Development Councils (CDCs) to onboard heartland merchants and hawkers onto the CDC Vouchers Scheme. This involves engaging and outreach to merchants and hawkers, providing them with information and support to sign up for the scheme.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Engage and outreach to heartland merchants and hawkers, providing them with information and support to sign up for the CDCs' scheme.
  • Provide guidance and encouragement to merchants and hawkers to promote the scheme on their social media platforms.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the onboarding process and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting on IT devices for merchants, hawkers, and residents.
  • Serve as liaison for CDCs' merchants, hawkers, and residents to handle scheme-related enquiries and feedback.

Requirements:
  • Good interpersonal communication skills and able to handle hawker/merchant and resident enquiries with basic knowledge on use of smart phones and e-payments.
  • Multilingual or ability to speak dialect(s) is an advantage.
  • Proactive, persuasive, and resourceful.
  • Physically fit to handle engagement work outdoors and able to work on evenings, weekends, and public holidays, when required.
