**Position Summary**

Front Office Ambassador will be responsible for providing guest services in the various sections: Reception, OneTouch, & M Club. For Reception, Front Office Ambassador will be responsible for providing guests with a positive first and last impression, and will provide consistent excellent customer service. For M Club, Front Office Ambassador is responsible for greeting all guests at all times in a friendly and helpful manner and attempts to learn and use guest's name at every opportunity. Takes personal interest and pride to ensure that the M Club Lounge and pantry work area is kept clean and in an orderly state all times. For One Touch, Front Office Ambassador has to speak clearly, distinctly, and with a friendly, courteous tone. Uses listening skills to put callers at ease and obtains accurate, complete information. Answers incoming calls and directs them to guest rooms through the telephone console or to hotel personnel or departments.

**Responsibilities**

**Reception**:

- Greets all guests at all times in a friendly and helpful manner and attempts to learn and use guest's name at every opportunity
- Process all guest check-ins, verifying guest identity, form of payment, assigning room, and activating/issuing room key.
- Ensure rates match market codes, document exceptions. Secure payment prior to issuing room key, verify/adjust billing.
- Obtain manual authorizations and follow all Accounting procedures.
- Set up accurate accounts for each guest according to their requirements.
- Process guest’s folios, collects payment, deposit and to assists with currency exchange
- Compile and review daily follow up such as traces and room change.
- Balance and drop receipts. Count and ensure cash float is tally at beginning and end of shift
- Complete cashier and closing reports. Performs the audit balances and prepares all works for audit in an orderly fashion
- Accommodate guest requests, contacting appropriate staff if necessary.
- Process all payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, and charges.
- Responsible and attends to guest's request of using the service of safety box at all times
- Maintains intimate knowledge of departmental standards and procedures
- Takes personal interest and pride to ensure that the front deskwork area is kept clean and in an orderly state all times
- To perform duties that will be assigned from time to time
**One Touch**:

- Answers incoming calls
- Directs call to guest rooms, staff, or departments
- Places outgoing calls
- Logs all wake-up call requests and performs wake-up call services
- Provides information about hotel services to guests
- Understand the telephone operator PABX switchboard operations
- Knows what action to take when an emergency call is required
- Monitors automated systems including fire alarms and telephone equipment when engineering and maintenance department is closed
- Assists in reporting telephone equipment or service complaints and problems
- To be fully aware of and adhere of health and safety, fire and bomb threat procedures
- Must be polite and courteous while answering the phone
- Open and close telephone functionality on the hotel front office software
- Keep records of calls placed and received by all departments and recording the call charges
- Following telephone etiquette
**Qualifications**
- Minimum O levels or equivalent
- Able to work a variety of shifts
**Experience**
- Experience in customer service industry will be an added advantage

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $1,600.00 - $1,800.00 per month
