Senior Laboratory Specialist

We are seeking a skilled scientific professional to manage laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless new product transfers, including laboratory preparation and system setup.
  • Manage laboratory inventory, including reference standards, chemicals, and supplies through systems such as GLIMS and kanban.
  • Maintain compliance with site Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and data integrity requirements throughout the lifecycle of reference standards.
  • Prepare and manage Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) documentation, support chemical review processes, and liaise with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) for regulatory compliance.
  • Author SOPs and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Pharmaceutical Science / Chemistry with at least 1 year of experience in an analytical laboratory or Diploma in Science with a minimum of 3 years of relevant laboratory experience.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Working knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) regulations and ALCOA principles.
  • Effective team player with a results-driven mindset and strong communication skills.
  • Experience with laboratory systems such as GLIMS is an advantage.
  • Willingness to adopt digital tools to improve efficiency and workflows.
