Job Role:
We are looking for a skilled professional to occupy the position of Backend Software Developer. This key role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and growth of our software systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To develop high-quality, scalable, and secure backend systems that meet the company's needs.
  • To maintain existing codebases through regular refactoring and ensure minimal issues occur.
  • To identify and resolve system performance, stability, and scalability problems efficiently.
  • To mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on improving development processes.
  • To collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee optimal system performance.

Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computing, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in backend engineering with a proven track record of delivering production-level systems.
  • Tech Skills: Proficient in Java, with expertise in Spring Boot, WebFlux, Kafka, Redis, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • System Design: Ability to design modular, scalable solutions considering performance, security, and observability.
  • Problem Solving: Skilled at identifying edge cases, managing risk, and enhancing system quality.
  • Process Mindset: Capable of spotting inefficiencies and proposing improvements in both tech and workflow.
  • Team Collaboration: Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to teamwork and feedback.

Desirable skills include fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin for effective communication with clients and counterparts.
