Senior Backend Software Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our eMobility platform. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned developer to play a crucial role in constructing a highly scalable platform for revolutionary new solutions that power the future of electric mobility and unattended retail.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend software development and experience working with Unix/Shell environments. Key responsibilities include engineering services that support the management and operation of the EV Charging network, building products to facilitate the adoption of Electric Vehicles in the region through seamless and open payments, as well as other critical functions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, identifying and implementing improvements to system performance and scalability. You will also participate in architectural discussions and decisions, providing insights based on your experience.

To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent working experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields, and 3-5 years of experience with backend software development.

You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced development environment and have a strong passion for mentoring and guiding junior developers. You will conduct code reviews and ensure best practices are followed.
