Backend Developer

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an experienced backend developer to design, develop, and maintain large-scale systems using Java and Spring Boot. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business analysts and technical leads to clarify requirements and propose effective solutions.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable and efficient backend systems and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.
  • Support the release of new applications and participate in change management processes to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Provide level 3 production support and resolve system issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code by following established coding standards and best practices.
  • Improve observability and performance monitoring of systems to optimize their efficiency and reliability.
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce manual errors.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in backend development with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, RESTful APIs, and Git.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns, including SOLID.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Linux shell scripting, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with cloud services, such as AWS, is highly desirable.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like ElasticSearch and OpenTelemetry is preferred.
  • Exposure to financial markets or market data systems is beneficial.
