This is a highly skilled position responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and security of hardware, software, networks, and servers.

  • Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining hardware, software, networks, and servers to ensure their smooth operation and security;
  • Implementing security measures such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems to safeguard against cyber threats;
  • Staying updated on the latest security patches and updates for all systems and applications;
  • Serving as the first point of contact for troubleshooting system and network issues;
  • Diagnosing problems, providing technical support, and resolving hardware or software faults promptly to minimize downtime;
  • Configuring and maintaining virtual private networks (VPNs) and virtual LANs (VLANs) to facilitate secure remote access and network segmentation;
  • Conducting thorough research to identify software solutions that align with company objectives;
  • Developing comprehensive IT policies and guidelines covering areas such as security protocols, equipment procurement, and replacement procedures;
  • Setting up and implementing backup plans and business continuity plans for system applications and stored information;
  • Conducting scheduled maintenance checks on equipment to avoid undetected faults and unauthorized installations;
  • Maintaining proper documentation of licenses, hardware and software inventories and ensuring records are up-to-date and properly presented;

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum degree in Information Technology;
  • 1-2 years related experience;
  • Familiarity with Server administration and switches configuration;
  • Basic understanding of cyber-security;
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues;
  • Ability to support PCs/Printers/Projectors/IT Peripherals Setup and Maintenance;
  • Good interpersonal skills and a team player;
  • Strong communication skills with all team members;
