We are seeking a seasoned thought leader and technical expert with extensive experience in a particular vertical (e.g., Financial Services, Telecommunications) to join our CXO Advisory team. As a key member of our industry solutions organization, you will collaborate with experienced practitioners and experts who work directly with C-Suite clients around application modernization and related strategies. You will also engage with customer developers and communicate effectively with them.

The Application Modernization Advisory team at MongoDB is a fast-growing, globally-dispersed team working in an exciting space with nearly limitless opportunities for growth. We deliver thought leadership and practical directions for legacy modernization and innovation of application stacks. This encompasses a holistic end-to-end view based on the experiences of the MongoDB team, including the full application stack. Generative AI plays a crucial role in this process, not only as a tool for modernizing legacy systems but also turning development organizations towards the next challenges.

As a senior member of our team, you will be responsible for advising customers on their transformation strategy, creating buy-in into the Modernization Factory, and designing pilots for generative AI-augmented transformations. You will partner with our sales team to ensure success in accounts embarking on modernization programs, present MongoDB's position at various events, and oversee customer project delivery teams to success. Your role will require superb communication skills, including presentation skills, past experience in software development and management, and adaptability in dealing with business challenges.

Our ideal candidate has 20+ years of experience in a particular vertical (e.g., Financial Services, Telecommunications), 15+ years of software development and architecture experience, 10+ years of IT management experience, including leading a development organization, and deep experience working with various database products, ETL tools, and related technologies. They should also have experience transforming legacy environments to modern microservice architectures, excellent presentation and communication skills, and experience with scalable and highly available distributed systems. Travel up to 50% is required for clients, events, and occasional team meetups.

We offer a competitive salary package of $250,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, and a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. Based in Singapore, you will work closely with a broad variety of functions inside the whole company, including sales, professional services, product, and marketing.
