Early Childhood Educator Opportunity

\

Nurture and educate children aged 18 months to 6 years old, delivering a curriculum that focuses on language and literacy, numeracy, aesthetics, creative expression, discovery of the world, and social-emotional development.

Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Plan and implement lessons that align with the Starbeam Framework.\
  • Create high-quality learning environments that include age-appropriate learning materials and resources.\
  • Nurture trusting and respectful relationships with children.\
  • Customise classroom management strategies to meet the needs of individual children.\
  • Document and assess children's learning and development to inform future planning and teaching.\
  • Work collaboratively with families to promote consistency in care and learning between the Centre and home.\
  • Cultivate and enhance partnerships with families and the wider community.\
  • Support children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning activities.\
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.\
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum programs.\
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support quality education and care.\
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.\
  • Other duties as assigned by the management team.\

  • Requirements:\
    • \
    • Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education (Teaching)/ Diploma in Child Psychology & Early Education or its equivalent.\
    • Certified by the relevant authority as an L2 teacher.\
    • Fluent in English Language (spoken and written).\
    • IT savvy.\
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.\
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.\
    • Capacity to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.\
