Facilities Maintenance Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities operations group, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine checks on facility equipment and systems, including air conditioning, electrical, fire protection, plumbing, and building management systems.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repairs on material handling equipment, machinery, and associated building services.
- Coordinate with vendors and external service providers for maintenance and repair services.
- Support other departments with facility-related needs and maintenance services.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, reports, and inventory.
- Respond to emergency repairs and breakdowns, including after-hours support.
Requirements:
- Minimum secondary level / ITE qualification with facility management experience and M&E exposure.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Physically fit, able to carry heavy items.
- Hands-on experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of M&E systems and material handling equipment.
- Maintain safety, health, and operational quality standards.
- Willingness to work in an oil and grease environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and site plans.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Forklift license and fire safety relevant experience.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
