Role & Responsibilities

  • The Assistant Manager - Front Office is responsible to assist the Front Office Manager in managing the day-to-day operation of the Front Desk at the property.
  • The Assistant Front Office Manager is to ensure and oversee that all the Front Office Executives and Officers shift procedures and duties are completed on time and are procedurally correct.
  • Supervise and assist on Front Office Executives and Officers in their roles and duties daily.
  • To communicate through pre-shift logs, emails and departmental meetings all pertinent information for the respective shift and areas of operation
  • Monitor and establish, improve or delete the existing standard and procedures to have more efficient and effective system in order to maintain or improve service and guest satisfaction at the Front Office Department
  • Update reports pertaining to occupancy rates, average room rates, activity forecasts, headcount planning, etc
  • Be fully involved in the preparation of departmental and organizational budgets any other financial reports if requested
  • The Assistant Front Office Manager is responsible for receiving and escorting all VIP's and ensuring that they feel comfortable and welcome on arrival to the property
  • The Assistant Front Office Manager is responsible and must be well equip in fire and emergency procedures and for contacting Management in case of a fire or emergency whilst on duty
  • Ensure credit policy is adhered to at all times, alerting the Front Office Manager of any potential credit risks
