About the role

As the Trade Marketing Manager for the OTC & Wellness categories, you will be the driving force behind the development and execution of strategic trade marketing initiatives. Your focus on Haleon's OTC-focus brand Panadol and key channels will be integral to achieving business objectives over a 3-year vision, with innovation sales as a key growth pillar.

Role Responsibilities

  • Strategic Thinking: Lead development of Trade Marketing strategy to achieve defined business objectives across defined product categories: OTC- Focus Brand (Panadol) and key channels- 3-year Vision with innovation sales as a pillar of growth
  • Trade Marketing Calendar: Develop and execute local campaigns, channel development programs and tailor-made customer partnership programs.
  • Investment Management: Deliver business objectives within allocated investments.
  • Commercial Activities: Own the development, execution, and evaluation of the commercial calendar of initiatives focused around: Category management, Shopper engagement, Omnichannel, Point-of-sale material, In Store Promoters, Roadshows and Premium Sourcing activities.
  • Compliance & process: Manage/Comply with local regulatory requirements and other administrative works.
  • Matrix Working (Internal): Develop effective working relationship across all functions which include marketing, Trade marketing, sales, supply chain, finance, regulatory, medical and legal advisor.
  • Matrix Working (External): Work closely with internal and external stockholders (Customers, Agency partners) to ensure clear communication and flawless execution.
  • Back End Processes: Ensure compliance to the business processes (Eg. GMN Code, My PSR, One Form, product barcode, DCF pricing, RRF, RI form with approval from QA, RA, Supply Chain).
  • Look at driving Active Recruitment program for Singapore through seamless collaboration with external specialist agencies.
  • Responsible for managing a reporting executive within the team.

Why you

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Degree Holder in marketing/business administration or related discipline, with 7-10 years of work experience in FMCG/CPG with understanding of trade and trade marketing fundamentals.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferable experience in sales function.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Independent and self-driven
  • Strong time management and analytic skills and able to work under tight timelines
  • Willing to accept all kinds of challenges and able to handle multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Key Account Managers/Exec/Regional Sales Managers for Modern Trade, General Trade, Supply Chain, RA, QA, Brand Managers Trade Marketing team in SG
  • Work with sales team to understand and build in channel/customer requirements in any promotional plans.
  • Have a good understanding of channel and customer requirements.
  • End to end below-the-line management of the brand with the ability to think out of the box.
