We are currently hiring a Deputy General Manager who is self-driven, results-oriented, and ready to take on a pivotal leadership role. This position involves overseeing key business operations and spearheading the development and execution of strategic initiatives that drive growth and performance.

Job Descriptions:


• Developing and implementing strategies to achieve business goals and objectives.


• Strengthen the company's competitive edge by understanding the customer segmentation, market trends, and industry requirements.


• Ensuring business compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Ensure that the organization's approach to data protection, security and retention comply with best practice and that policies and procedures are effectively implemented.


• Analysing data and performance metrics to make informed decisions, including bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting for project update and to the Singapore regional HQ and Japan Head Office.


• Overseeing the company's day-to-day operations, handle budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation to meet strategic goals and the yearly capital budget to ensure efficiency in business operations.


• Develop and oversee procurement policies and procedures, ensuring transparency, compliance, and efficiency in tendering, contract management, and the acquisition of goods, works, and services, including supervision and acquisition of IT services for the organization.


• Manage and oversee staffing activities including recruitment, training, performance management, and retention of employees.


• Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality in handling personal and organizational information.

Requirements:


• Minimum a bachelor's degree in business administration, management, economics, finance, or a related discipline.


• At least 10 - 15 years of experience in a senior management or leadership role, preferably with in-depth technical knowledge and capabilities.


• Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, financial reporting and cost management


• Strong leadership ability and well-developed critical thinking and organizational skills. Ability to lead a team of staff and business partners of multinational background and culture.


• Fluent in Business Japanese language (Preferably N1, at least N2 level of JLPT) will be an advantage.
