ABOUT UNLEASH THE ROAR

Unleash the Roar (UTR) − is a national movement which aims to raise the levels of Singapore football, build strong support systems to nurture our next generation of talents and rally the nation behind the shared dream. It is a long-term, whole-of-society effort covering grassroots development, elite youth pathways, infrastructure and community / fan engagement.

One pillar of the UTR efforts revolves around scholarships which aim to transform the development journey of exceptional student-athletes by exposing them to optimal training and competition environments both locally and overseas, while ensuring their continued academic development. UTR Scholarships also supports the professional growth and development of our high potential local coaches through attachments to international clubs from matured football nations.

Reporting to Lead, Community Programs, UTR, your key job responsibilities are detailed below. You will also be required to support other UTR teams / initiatives during peak periods when necessary.

Role and Responsibilities:

Programme Management:

• Facilitate the programme operations and ensure delivery of ActiveSG Football Academy programmes

• Create ActiveSG Football Programmes seasonally on ActiveSG+

• Compile participant demographics and attendance for the KPIs of the ActiveSG Football Academy

Inventory Management:

• Responsible for accountability of logistics and the team's inventory for annual audit

• Purchase equipment necessary for the smooth execution of programmes

• Coordinate with equipment contractors to do regular equipment maintenance works

Coach Management:

• Gather documents and the recruitment process of new Assistant Coach applicants

• Attend to Assistant Coaches' payroll enquiries

• Facilitate sending coaches to courses made available to them

Communications & Marketing:

• Responsible for social media presence of ActiveSG Football Academy

• Respond to public queries on ActiveSG Football Academy generic email

• Build up ActiveSG Football Academy's digital assets

• Reach out to a greater number of followers on social media

• Create / Maintain a Library of quality images to use for social media posts

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in sports development, physical education, sports management, or sports science is an advantage.
  • Experience in programme development/management, preferably in sports, physical activity, or football.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • A team player with a genuine passion for football.
  • Strong influencing skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and sound judgement.
  • Strategic and systemic thinker with attention to detail.
  • Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and track record.
