
Senior Technical Sales Manager, Indian Subcontinent

This position will be based in Mumbai, India. It is a highly visible and significant role within the company's technical and commercial functions. You will report administratively to the General Manager Life Science and functionally to the Global Business Director.Your responsibilities will include promoting Ashland's core chemistry and new product introduction (NPI) in the Agrochemical industry, supporting the delivery of the business plan for the assigned territory and accounts in terms of sales volume and revenues. You will ensure timely introduction of new products to achieve the NPI sales target, proactively seek information about Customers" strategy and product launches, coordinate activities related to the projects with the Customer & distributor on the product application and development, and closely cooperate with the sales team and R&D to ensure the project meets the customer's needs. Additionally, you will contribute insights and guidelines to the regional strategy and account plan and implement them accordingly.To be qualified for this role, you must possess a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or chemistry, preferably with a specialization in Agrochemicals, along with 6-8 years of experience in technical sales within the Agrochemical industry. You should have in-depth knowledge of Agrochemical technologies, key market players, trends, and strategies, a proven track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships, strong technical expertise and sales execution skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, outstanding communication skills, and adaptability to the dynamic nature of the Agrochemical business.In more than 100 countries, Ashland LLC. provides specialty chemicals, technologies, and insights to help customers create new and improved products for today and sustainable solutions for tomorrow.
