Roles & Responsibilities

The Orthoptist will play a vital role in diagnosing and managing various ocular motility disorders, demonstrating specialist skills and knowledge in orthoptic patient care. This includes independently assessing and managing cases requiring orthoptic intervention, while keep up-to-date with evidence-based practices and integrate findings into daily clinical work. The role requires excellent communication skills to maintain respectful relationships with colleagues and active participation in innovative procedures within the department and division.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of applied Sciences (Orthoptics) or equivalent
  • Preferably at least one year full-time working experience as an Orthoptist
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Pleasant disposition with acceptable grooming standard,
  • Keen learner and good attitude towards learning and improving.
  • Independent worker and a team player.
