Our client, a globally recognized bank with strong presence across Asia, is seeking a HR Officer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to take ownership of the full employee lifecycle while supporting a dynamic and professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee enquiries on HR policies, terms and conditions of employment, and company benefits.
  • Handle a broad range of HR functions including recruitment, talent management, performance appraisal, compensation & benefits, and strategic HR initiatives.
  • Administer payroll functions including monthly salary, claims, overtime, and bonus.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage end-to-end work pass applications and renewals, escalating issues where necessary.
  • Partner with HR colleagues to manage employee relations matters, including grievance and disciplinary processes.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in line with HR best practices.
  • Support audits, manpower reporting, and government surveys.
  • Undertake additional HR-related duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
  • At least 5 years of relevant HR experience; prior exposure in the banking/financial services industry is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment legislation.
  • Proficient in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Mandarin proficiency will be an advantage to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across departments.
  • Resourceful, independent, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and sense of accountability.
