Job Description

Corporate Affairs functions are critical to the operations and growth of any organisation.

Netball Singapore is looking for an Assistant Manager to support and understudy our experience Manager in the areas of Finance, Human Resources, and Administration.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent (professional certifications / qualifications will also be considered)
  • Relevant professional experience in finance and accounting
  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Core skills:

o Analytical and logical mind

o Conscientious, precise, and accurate

o Ability to work under time pressure when required

Candidates with at least 2 to 3 years of relevant professional experience will be prioritised.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with full sets of accounts
  • Monitoring financial activities according to financial regulations
  • Maintaining proper records of all receipts and payments
  • Managing petty cash
  • Handling banking functions
  • Issuing sales Invoices
  • Reviewing age receivables and following up on outstanding invoices
  • Preparing statements of accounts for events
  • Overseeng staff annual leave and other entitlements/benefits
  • Assisting in general administrative duties, including office management
  • Providing recommendations and counsel to the leadership team
  • Other ad hoc tasks relevant to the organisation
