Job Description – Pre-Sales Consultant
Location: Singapore HQ
Department: Sales & Delivery (Cognotiv Venture)
Reports to: Head of Sales / Solution Consulting Lead
The Pre-Sales Consultant acts as a bridge between the sales team, product/solution team, and potential clients. The role is responsible for understanding client needs, designing solution proposals, delivering compelling product demonstrations, and ensuring technical/functional alignment of Cognotiv's solutions to customer requirements.
This role requires direct experience with education and government programs, learning and development, HR Management solutions, SaaS platforms (B2B & B2C), and AI-driven applications across ASEAN.
Key Responsibilities- Solution Design & Consultation
Engage with prospective clients to understand business challenges, processes, and objectives.
Translate requirements into tailored proposals aligned with Cognotiv's SaaS and AI-powered platforms.
Provide subject-matter expertise in education technology, HRTech, GovTech, and enterprise SaaS solutions. - Pre-Sales Support
Deliver impactful presentations, live demos, and proof-of-concepts (PoC).
Respond to RFPs/RFIs and prepare solution documentation.
Partner with Sales to shape winning strategies and with Product/Tech teams to ensure feasibility. - Client Engagement
Act as trusted advisor to C-level, ministries, and enterprise leaders.
Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering, and discovery sessions.
Address solution-related objections with value-driven narratives. - Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
Work closely with Product, Program Management, and Technical Development teams.
Capture market and client feedback to influence product roadmap.
Contribute to internal playbooks, demo environments, and knowledge libraries.
- Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years' proven experience in Pre-Sales / Solution Consulting / Business Analysis.
- Direct expertise in at least 2 of these domains:
Education / GovTech programs
Learning & Development / HR Management solutions
SaaS platforms (B2B and/or B2C)
AI-driven applications / data solutions - Demonstrated ability to lead presentations, demos, and PoC for government agencies, ministries, or enterprise clients.
- Based in Singapore, with willingness to travel regionally across ASEAN.
- Experience with government procurement, RFP/RFI, or tender processes.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, integration, and enterprise architecture.
- Regional exposure across ASEAN markets.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, TOGAF, AWS, Azure).
- Strong ability to connect technical capabilities with business outcomes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and consultative skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, multi-country startup environment.
- Base Salary (Singapore): Starting from SGD 6,000 / month
- Annual Base: Starting from SGD 78,000 [Subject to latest pay and experience]
- Performance Bonus: 10–15% of base
