Working Location: Jurong Island

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and technically strong Senior/Project Engineer to support our 230kV power plant operations and infrastructure projects at Jurong Island. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in high-voltage substations or power generation installation and be well-versed in project management, technical documentation, and field execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in providing engineering consultancy and project management services for 230kV electrical installation.
  • Participate in engineering activities across the project; by managing the disciplines for the achievement of budget, schedule, quality and safety goals
  • Manage and oversee engineering projects related to 230kV electrical systems and power plant infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation related to substation equipment, transformers, switchgear, and protection systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines.
  • Prepare and track project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
  • Support site inspections, commissioning activities, and troubleshooting as required.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and stakeholders on permits, approvals, and inspections for the project

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in 230kV high-voltage infrastructure.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
