
Manager/ Senior Manager, Program Management

OBJECTIVES:
The Manager of Program Management is responsible for effectively managing the processes within the HS Operations Program Management organization, support process improvement activities and standardization. Provide guidance, direction, and support to the Site Project Managers to ensure, through governance, that there is strong collaboration between the different functional areas involved ensuring effective execution of project activities, cost control and customer satisfaction.
Furthermore, it is the Dir.PM responsibility to ensure strong and continuous business relationships with all HS Operations Sites (HS dedicated sites) as well as with HS Commercial Projects Owner (non-dedicated sites), GPMs, GAMs and GMs.
MAIN TASKS:
· The employee commits to follow and to realize the company's management system (M-system), the company's procedures and the company's quality improvement policy (I-plan) relevant to the employee as general procedures.
· The employee pays attention to security, cleanness and tidiness and follows the CSER (corporate social and environmental responsibility) policy.
· The employee provides support to other Flex sites.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
· Manage project relationship on a Global basis and act as an escalation point for all product programs, projects and operational performance issues to support improvement activities.
· Facilitate collaborative communication between all functional areas within a location / business group / vertically integrated organization.
· Facilitate more-way communication between Internal Customers (GAM, BDM, Leadership Team, etc.) and Flex Operations Sites. If requested, extend facilitation of communication to External Customers.
· Work with Operations globally to ensure the appropriate Project Managers and project resources are assigned to all customer projects.
· Accountable for the performance of the FPLC project team(s) and Project manager(s) and ensure all project managers, program managers and project teams adhere to the Flex Product Life Cycle Process (FPLC) process no matter where the projects are initiated from.
Accountable for operational sites adherence to tools used by operations (e.g., Shield, CMH, Viewpoint, OTD, VMT/QMS, VMT Action Tracker, QvA/QvF, etc.).
· Provide the necessary leadership and support to Site Program and Project Managers (Design, NPI, Lead, etc.) to manage projects in line with project management processes and associated policies and procedures.
· Monitor and review project performance with the principle Project manager and Operations Program Manager ensuring timely resolution of any issues that may arise.
· Support BDM, GAM, and Sites in getting additional business with existing customers.
· Act as an escalation path for all PMs on internal and external topics.
· Ensure alignment of defined strategies, processes, and standardizations.
· Monitoring of key milestones ensuring adherence to identified timelines and deliverables of key objectives for specific activities.
· Ensure compliance reviews to GMP standards for Medical Manufacturing.
· Part of escalation process.
· Support managing customer relationship on a Global basis.
· Facilitate internal communication between Flex vertical partners.
· Facilitate external communication between customer and Flex Sites.
· Ensure Customer's expectations are clearly communicated and are being met within Flex.
· Input into Customer Contract development and ensures Contract requirements are adhered to by both operations and customers.
· Identify additional opportunities within a division/segment or account and support the integrated sales proposal.
· Conduct operational reviews to ensure Flex and Customer requirements are at the required levels.
· Input into future Flex operational and manufacturing strategies to support customer business strategies.
· Ensure Use and Sharing of best practices and Standardization of Flex and Customer processes and procedures.
· Establish performance measurements for Global Operations PM Organization to maximize profit and reduce liability (CMH, Viewpoint, QvA/QvF, OTD, Shield, etc.).
· Reviews Viewpoint results with Account and Site Management.
Supports PMs in setting and resetting of customer expectations.
Requirement
· A Bachelor's Degree in engineering, sciences or business; MBA is preferred.
· Typically requires 7 years of progressively advancing program management and/or business development or account management experience.
· Minimum of 1-2 years medical device manufacturing experience.
· Experience in managing multiple projects.
· Experience with high product revenue and/or high mix production and high visibility areas.
· MS Projects and Excel proficiency required.
