We are representing a well-established engineering and construction company that is looking to hire a Tender Manager / Senior Tender Executive to join their growing team. This role plays a key part in pre- and post-tender activities, ensuring comprehensive, compliant, and competitive tender submissions across various systems, including mechanical, electrical, ELV, and more.

Responsibilities
  • Analyse and clarify RFQs during pre-tender and tender phases; raise queries or propose amendments to influence client or consultant decisions.
  • Prepare Risk Management (RM) checklists for local and regional management approvals.
  • Attend site show rounds to understand project scope and document Minutes of Meeting (MOM).
  • Lead and organize tender preparation for single or multi-disciplinary systems ensuring completeness, quality, and risk compliance.
  • Consolidate technical specs, BOQs, cost/quotes, and commercial contract terms for risk mitigation and competitiveness.
  • Coordinate with project teams on manpower planning and project organization during tender stage.
  • Optimize supplier quotations to achieve target win price while maintaining healthy margins; prepare Tender Cost Summary for approval.
  • Prepare and support tender interview presentations for clarification/negotiation phases.
  • Organize tender review meetings and ensure complete handover to project teams.
  • Submit Weekly Tender Reports to HQ.
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Ability to lead a QS team and allocate tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret specifications, contracts, and technical drawings.
  • Experience in preparing and analyzing BOQs and major equipment lists.
  • Proficient in pricing tabulation and updating cost data in line with market trends.
  • Skilled in sourcing quotations, performing cost comparisons, and identifying inclusions/exclusions.
  • Able to manage multiple tender submissions concurrently.
  • Strong collaboration with Project and Procurement teams for seamless planning and execution.
  • Strong interpersonal and industry network with owners, consultants, and main contractors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for tender documentation and presentations.
  • Confident and articulate during tender interviews.
  • Familiarity with HT, LV, ELV systems; knowledge of ACMV/Fire systems is advantageous.
  • Exposure to Data Centre and Airport projects is a plus.
