The CentreLeader leads in developing strategic plans and structures to fostera culture of care and trust, mentoring, collaborativeprofessionalism and continuous learning within the Centre. He/Sheis responsible for managing and enhancing Centre operations whileadhering to industry regulations. He/She drives operational andprogramme excellence by developing strong processes in strategicareas such as governance, partnerships, continuous development,curriculum and pedagogy.
He/She developsframeworks for sustained collaborative partnerships withstakeholders, possesses strong communication skills and is highlyinfluential. He/She leads in modelling the Centre's mission, visionand values, and oversees the well-being of all staff in theCentre.
responsibilities
1.Manage manpower resources
a) Lead thedesign of initiatives to establish a culture of collaborationwithin the Centre.
b) Review Centre's manpowerplans.
c) Establish strategies to engender aculture of mentoring, coaching and capability development withinthe Centre
d) Drive capability development andcoaching initiatives within theCentre
2. Manage Centreoperations
a) Lead the development ofimprovements on systems, processes andoperations.
b) Review the coherence of Centre'sinitiatives, systems and processes.
c) Developpreventive and pre-emptive strategies for challenges faced by teamleaders within the Centre.
d) Manage the budgetfor day-to-day operations in theCentre.
3. Drive programmes and serviceexcellence initiatives
a) Lead Centreto develop Centre strategic priorities, culture andgovernance.
b) Establish plans and structures toengender a culture of continuous learning within theCentre.
c) Drive buy-in on vision, mission andvalues within the Centre.
d) Drive initiativeand enterprise within the Centre.
4.Plan and implement curriculum andprogrammes
a) Drive the design ofquality teaching and learning approaches beyond the Centrelevel.
b) Drive the enhancement of learningneeds assessment processes and structures.
c)Align children engagement strategies in accordance with Centrepolicies.
d) Drive the development of qualityclassroom management strategies in accordance with leadingpractices beyond the Centre level.
e) Evaluateimprovements made to enhance quality of learningenvironment.
f) Advocate the importance ofappropriate health, safety, nutritional and hygiene standards andprocedures beyond the Centre level.
g) Lead thedevelopment of new teaching and learning methods, tools andassistive technologies based on emerging trends in thesector.
5. Build stakeholderrelationships and partnerships
a)Inculcate a culture of collaboration within theCentre.
b) Lead the strategic design ofpartnerships and collaborations with families and communitystakeholders within the Centre.
c) Modelprofessionalism when collaborating with families and communitystakeholders within the Centre.
d) Represent theCentre to build business relationships.
e)Design Centre initiatives, families and community programmes andinitiatives.
6. Uplift professionalpractice
a) Establish plans andstructures to engender a culture of mentoring within theCluster.
b) Drive professional development,training, workshops, educational initiatives and service qualityimprovement of professionals.
c) Drive buy-in onvision, mission and values within theCentre.
7.Others
a)Any other duties as and when assigned byHeadquarters.
