Roles & Responsibilities

Job Title: Supermarket Promoter
Job Scope:
1. Product Promotion & Demonstration
  • Promote and demonstrate products to walk-in customers at assigned supermarket locations.
  • Provide product samples (if applicable), explain usage, features, and benefits to encourage purchases.
  • Set up product display areas attractively to catch customer attention.
2. Customer Engagement
  • Approach and engage customers professionally and proactively.
  • Answer customer questions, handle objections, and provide accurate product information.
  • Offer recommendations based on customer needs or preferences.
3. Sales & Target Achievement
  • Drive sales and meet daily or weekly sales targets set by the supervisor or brand.
  • Encourage impulse buying through persuasive communication and product knowledge.
4. Inventory & Stock Management
  • Monitor and manage stock levels at the promotion site.
  • Refill products on display shelves when running low and report when stock is insufficient.
5. Reporting & Feedback
  • Submit daily sales reports, customer feedback, and competitor activity to the supervisor.
  • Report any customer complaints, product issues, or operational problems.
6. Cleanliness & Display Maintenance
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the booth or promotional area at all times.
  • Ensure display stands, posters, and promotional materials are well maintained and up-to-date.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
  • Friendly, outgoing personality with good communication skills.
  • Able to stand for long hours and work retail shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of the product (training usually provided).
  • Experience in retail, sales, or promotions is a plus.

Working hours are flexible. It can be 5 pm-8 pm. Promotor gets a cut of the total sales of products in the supermarket for the whole month.
