Roles & Responsibilities

Greenlane is partnering with a reputable bank to seek a Relationship Manager to join their Commodity Structured Trade Finance team. This is a great opportunity for professionals who are passionate about corporate banking, trade finance, and managing key client relationships within the commodities sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deepen relationships within the bank's existing portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and profitability.
  • Originate and onboard new clients, including conducting credit assessments, structuring credit facilities, preparing cash flow projections, and managing end-to-end loan documentation.
  • Perform KYC checks and ensure full compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive credit risk analysis and prepare high-quality credit proposals for approval.
  • Provide prompt and effective support to client enquiries and issues.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and overseas offices to drive business growth and support cross-border transactions.
  • Support the Head of Department in various departmental projects and ad hoc initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in corporate banking, with a focus on relationship management.
  • Experience in trade finance, structured finance, syndications, or the commodities sector will be a strong advantage.
  • Strong credit writing skills with sound financial and risk analysis capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and client-focused mindset.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and results-oriented, with strong business acumen.
