Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Culinary Leadership – Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards in food quality, presentation, and consistency.
  • Menu Development – Design and refine an innovative, seasonal, and high-end menu that aligns with the restaurant's concept and customer preferences.
  • Ingredient Sourcing & Cost Control – Select premium ingredients, manage supplier relationships, and optimize food costs without compromising quality.
  • Kitchen Management & Organization – Maintain a well-structured, efficient, and clean kitchen, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Team Leadership & Training – Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous learning.
  • Quality Control & Consistency – Implement strict quality control measures to maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and plating.
  • Collaboration with Management – Work closely with restaurant management to align kitchen operations with business goals and customer expectations.
  • Adaptation & Innovation – Stay updated on food trends and incorporate creative ideas to keep the menu fresh and appealing.
Requirements
  • Culinary degree or professional certification from a recognized institution.
  • 10+ years of experience in professional kitchens, with at least 5 years in a head chef or executive chef role.
  • Proven experience in high-end dining, fine dining, or premium restaurants.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a kitchen team.
  • Expertise in menu development, food cost control, and kitchen operations.
  • Exceptional knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and kitchen best practices.
  • Passion for creativity and innovation in cuisine while maintaining classic culinary principles.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Michelin-starred restaurants or renowned fine dining establishments.
  • Specialized skills in European, Asian, or fusion cuisine (based on your restaurant's concept).
  • Strong network with high-quality ingredient suppliers and industry professionals.
