About The Opportunity

The MBO Support Specialist will provide crucial support within the Technology Product Management Team, specializing in mid-office systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operations and effective deployment of mid-office systems across new regions. The MBO Support Specialist will assist in training, system testing, and the scoping of new region deployments, thereby ensuring the systems are optimized and functional to meet the business needs.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with key members from various functions, such as Operations, Finance, Account Management, and Strategy. Within your team, you will work to ensure the successful execution, delivery, training, maintenance, and resolution of daily operational issues of the mid-office systems used by FCM companies in the region.


Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Support the Product Manager and Business Systems Analyst in daily operations and system management.
  • Assist in the training of Level 1 and Level 2 support team members, ensuring they are equipped to handle basic and intermediate inquiries and system troubleshooting.
  • Help in the development and execution of test plans and scripts to ensure new releases meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate in the scoping and planning for deploying mid-office systems in new regions, ensuring local market requirements are met.
  • Support system releases and updates, including testing and feedback collection from end-users.
  • Maintain and update training materials and documentation, ensuring they are current and meet the needs of users and new system functionalities.
  • Act as a liaison between users and the technology team, communicating feedback and ongoing needs to enhance system performance and usability.
  • Participate in ad-hoc IT projects and business process reengineering initiatives as required by the technology leadership.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Previous experience in a support role within a technology or back-office environment.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Effective communication skills in both written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
  • Knowledge of the travel industry and industry-specific network systems will be an advantage.
  • Understanding of key business processes in finance and back-office operations preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of software development methodologies preferred, e.g., Agile.
  • Good problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
