Asia-Pacific Corporate Banking

We are now seeking an experienced professional to join the team.

Your key roles & responsibilities include:

· Lead and manage in strategizing and implementing Non-Japanese business strategy, creating and developing financial products and solutions, and managing capital committee, credit approvals, execution, operations, and risk/compliance management.

· Support Head of Banking to lead APAC non-Japanese business corporate and institutional banking business and to manage non-Japanese heads of each countries.

· Lead, manage and supervise APCB team heads for business promotion in each function such as sector, financial products and financial solutions services in Asia Pacific.

· Responsible for maximizing profits and returns from APAC non-Japanese corporate and institutional customers to achieve qualitative and quantitative goals and establishing a high quality loan portfolio with appropriate risk return, plus increasing the proportion of non-balance sheet related fees.

· Responsible for promoting cross-sell of products and cross-border collaboration within Mizuho Financial Group and also with external key parties.

· Responsible for both expat and non-expat human resource management in APCB and also supporting Head of Banking manage non-Japanese GMs/heads of front offices in APAC to develop and maintain lean and sustainable organization.

· Manage internal affairs of APCB including but not limited to compliance, planning, personnel control, budget control, risk control and operational control.

· Prepare and present management level reports regarding APAC non-Japanese business corporate and institutional banking business in both English and Japanese language.

What you should have:

· A Master's Degree with at least 10 years of experience in banking sector, especially in the non-Japanese business corporate and institutional banking.

· Transaction banking knowledge, including but not limited to cash management, trade finance, Treasury, FX and derivative, is required.

· Investment banking knowledge, including but not limited to Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, and M&A, is required.

· Financial product and Solution knowledge, including but not limited, project finance, real estate finance, fund finance, securitization, LBO finance, rating advisory and sustainability finance, is preferable.

· Experience in working abroad within and outside APAC, is preferable

· Strong understanding and affiliation to Japanese financial industry with relevant network, is preferable.

· Seasoned interpersonal skill and business-level proficiency in English to present to management globally, and also Japanese language skill preferable.
