What you will be working on

As an Executive within the Healthcare Claims and Payments Department, you will be responsible in managing the day-to-day operations of various healthcare payout disbursement programmes.

The broad area of your responsibilities include:

  • Administering the daily operations of healthcare claims and payments, ensuring smooth interactions for all stakeholders involved.
  • Collaborating with the external agencies, such as Agency of Integrated Care to facilitate the disbursement of CareShield Life (CSHL), ElderShield (ESH), MediSave (MSV) Care payout.
  • Address enquiries from members regarding the healthcare claims and payments via correspondence, ensuring alignment with the department's daily operations.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including compiling statistics and reconciling General Ledger to support the management of CSHL/ESH/MSV Care claims and payment statistics.
  • Assess, streamline, and automate current business processes associated with claims and payouts to improve efficiency and customer service.
  • Provide operational support to supervisors and undertake additional tasks as needed to review and implement policy changes related to the healthcare claims and payments
  • Top of Form

What we are looking for

  • Prior experience in claims processing, payment administration, or related fields preferred.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively correspond with members and external agencies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to compile and analyse statistics
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks including General Ledger reconciliation and data management would be advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with process improvement and automation techniques is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
