What you will be working on

As part of the Healthcare Claims and Payments team, you will manage the day-to-day operations of various healthcare payout disbursement programmes.

In this role, you will:

  • Administer the daily operations of healthcare claims and payments, ensuring smooth interactions for all stakeholders involved.
  • Collaborate with external agencies, such as the Agency of Integrated Care, to facilitate the disbursement of CareShield Life (CSHL), ElderShield (ESH), MediSave (MSV) Care payouts.
  • Address enquiries from members regarding healthcare claims and payments, ensuring alignment with operating standards.
  • Perform general administrative duties, including compiling statistics and reconciling the General Ledger to support the management of CSHL/ESH/MSV Care claims and payment statistics.
  • Assess, streamline, and automate current business processes associated with claims and payouts to improve efficiency and customer service.
  • Provide operational support to supervisors and undertake additional tasks as needed to review and implement policy changes related to the healthcare claims and payments.

  • Relevant experience in claims processing, payment administration, or related fields.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively correspond with members and external agencies.
  • Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to compile and analyse statistics.
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks, including General Ledger reconciliation and data management, will be an added advantage.
  • Experience with process improvement and automation techniques is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.

The seniority of appointment and actual corporate job title will commensurate with individual work experiences.

Position is on a 1-year full-time contract directly under the payroll of CPF Board with an option to renew, contingent upon confirmation and subject to organisational needs. Additionally, there is potential for emplacement into a permanent position.
