Roles & Responsibilities

Position: Customer service (Freight Forwarding)

Temp position: 6 Months

Salary: S$1500 – S$1800

English + Mandarin Speaking preferred (to deal with our Chinese customers)

Working hours: 9am to 6pm (Mon – Fri)

Office: Paya Lebar Square


Job Description :

· Invoice billing

· Verify Overseas & Contractors' invoices

· Data entry and other assignments.

· Handling and preparation of shipping documents (eg: delivery order / billing of lading, tax invoice, arrival notice and others)

· Dangerous goods applications

· Send BL and invoice to shipper and arrange telex release upon payment


Other adhoc job:

· Responding customer queries.

· Check shipment status

· Arranging and coordinating for transportation / trucking.

· Liaise with customer on operation issues.

· Import and export consolidation documents & liaising with overseas agent

· Monitor and co-ordinate import & export shipments.

· Liase with consignee / shipper on import shipment's arrangements.

· Send / fax arrival notice to consignee and arrange collection / delivery of cargoes.

· Submission of permits to shipping lines.
