Responsibilities
- Providing product information: A customer service representative may answer customer inquiries about DG Packaging Pte Ltd's products, such as the different types of packaging solutions available for dangerous goods and their specifications.
- Offering guidance on regulations: Providing information on the regulatory requirements for dangerous goods packaging, such as the standards set by the International Air Transport Association (IATA)
- Assisting with orders: Helping customers with regards to packaging solutions and provide updates on the status of their orders.
- Addressing customer concerns: Handling customer complaints and concerns related to DG Packaging Pte Ltd's products, delivery, or customer service.
- Coordinating with other teams: Work closely with DG Packaging Pte Ltd's sales, production, and logistics teams to ensure that customer orders are processed and delivered in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction: Ultimately, a customer service representative at DG Packaging Pte Ltd is responsible for ensuring that customers are satisfied with the company's products and services and that their dangerous goods are properly packaged and transported in compliance with regulations.
Requirements
- Education and experience: Experience in customer service, sales, or logistics.
- Communication skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for a customer service role. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers, as well as with other teams within the company, is crucial.
- Attention to detail: Attention to detail is critical in a customer service role, as customer orders must be processed accurately and in compliance with regulations. A customer service representative must also be able to quickly identify and resolve any issues or errors.
- Interpersonal skills: A customer service representative must be able to work well with others and maintain a positive attitude, even when dealing with difficult customers or challenging situations. The ability to work collaboratively with other teams within the company is also important.
- Technology skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant technology platforms may be required for a customer service role at DG Packaging Pte Ltd.
