**Working Days:** 5 Days On-Site Weekly

**Salary Range:** SGD 7,000 to SGD 11,000 Monthly

**Job Description:**

Our esteemed Japan MNC bank is seeking a talented and experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in Node.js to join our dynamic team. This is a contract role with the opportunity for permanent placement based on performance. As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate and guide our development teams, ensuring agile practices are effectively implemented, and the team delivers high-quality software solutions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Act as a Scrum Master for multiple development teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.

- Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure a clear understanding of the product backlog and priorities.

- Encourage and guide the adoption of agile/scrum best practices and continuous improvement.

- Coach team members in agile frameworks and ensure productive team dynamics.

- Foster an environment of collaboration and ensure the team is focused on sprint goals.

- Identify and mitigate obstacles that could impact project timelines or quality.

- Ensure the development team is utilizing Node.js effectively and adhering to best coding practices.

- Track sprint performance, providing visibility to stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with business goals.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions.

- Promote a culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability within the team.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.

- Strong expertise in Node.js development and familiarity with related technologies.

- Comprehensive understanding of agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills.

- Ability to resolve conflicts and foster a positive team environment.

- Experience working in a financial or banking sector is preferred but not required.

- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar agile certification is a plus.
