Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical, operational and strategic support to managed developers launching applications and creators launching products on the VR store
  • Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc.
  • Provide direct operational support for the company's processes, improvements, and internal initiatives.
  • Provide technical assistance to external clients and internal cross-functional collaborators
  • Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and leading implementation efforts as needed
  • Perform, organize and streamline operational tasks across various departments to reduce the risk for potential errors
  • Confer with management, production and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures
  • Monitor for problems and acting when required or escalating to the operations manager when needed
  • Action activities that are associated with the production of the products the company offers
  • Handle problems in a calm and collected manner, even when under pressure

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, administration, or related field; candidates with relevant experience will also be considered
  • Bilingual in English and Japanese as this will be working closely with internal and external stakeholders including Japanese-speaking developers and Japanese publishers
  • Launch or Release Management experience preferred. Minimally should have strong project management experience, managing product launches
  • Strong technical literacy
  • Familiarity video game and VR/MR ecosystems highly preferred
