Roles & Responsibilities

The Lion City Parkour Sales & Marketing Career Trial aims to onboard and train a motivated individual to drive customer acquisition, expand outreach, and increase revenue for our parkour gym business. This role will focus on generating and securing leads, promoting and attracting new students to our services and (e.g. parkour regular classes, international schools, camps, corporate workshops, birthday parties), doing more outreach to potential clients, and enhancing customer engagement through effective sales and marketing strategies.

During this period, the selected candidate will work closely with our team to develop marketing strategies, assist with customer service, and manage advertising campaigns, while also gaining hands-on experience with our business operations and community-building efforts that is applicable within the sports and fitness industry (especially within a gym business) with the potential for long-term employment based on performance.

There will also be opportunities to immerse in our company culture, as well as finding other roles that may be suitable. These tasks include coaching, gym maintenance, woodworking, assisting in media-related works with our media manager, front desk administration, and the like.

Ultimately, we are looking for both male and female fresh graduates (post-NS). Of course, if you are open and willing to try and learn some Parkour yourself, this is also a great opportunity to do so

Career Trial Activities Plan:

Month 1: Orientation and Observation
  1. Meeting the Team: Observe our classes from our experienced coaches as well as working with the sales team and learn from their customer interactions, sales calls/emails/messaging, and marketing activities.
  2. Understand the Business: Familiarize yourself with Lion City Parkour's brand identity, current services, target audience, and existing marketing strategies as well as understanding basic SOPs.
  3. Marketing planning: Discuss with the team and come up with sales and marketing ideas for ad-running especially to seasonal services such as courses and camps, and finding ways to promote the smaller/newer classes in the gym.
  4. Participate in Meetings: Attend team meetings and monthly gatherings to understand the company's goals, internal workflows, and marketing objectives.
  5. Assist with Light Duties: Help with basic tasks such as responding to customer inquiries, content-planning, etc.
Month 2: Assisting and Active Involvement
  1. Begin more hands-on outreach and meetings with schools and corporations to secure more work, as well as liaising with advertising companies (family/kid-focused) to promote our gym's classes, camps, and parties.
  2. Assist in creating and executing marketing campaigns, including running and optimizing ad campaigns, email newsletters, and event promotions.
  3. Engage with Customers: Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent service to build relationships and encourage repeat business. Assist and improve on customer service SOPs.
  4. Attend and assist in more community engagement initiatives and special classes (workshops/parties/camps) to understand the logistics and customer experience.
  5. Develop partnerships with fitness, education, and corporate sectors for potential collaborations.
Month 3: Independent Execution and Role Expansion
  1. Take ownership of lead generation, customer follow-ups, and class promotions with minimal supervision.
  2. Execute marketing campaigns or partnership initiatives independently
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with schools, corporate clients, and parents to foster long-term partnerships.
  4. Career Trial Review: Analyze and summarize insights past months' marketing performance, gather feedback from the team, and evaluate personal growth and potential for a long-term role within the team.
