about the role

This person is crucial in driving the company’s growth by sourcing for new business opportunities and managing relationships with existing accounts.

  • Recognize and actively pursue fresh business prospects, which encompasses potential partnerships, collaborations, and distribution avenues.
  • Recognize potential corporate gifting clientele and comprehend their individual requirements and preferences.
  • Create and execute a focused outreach plan to connect with corporate customers to promote their product range.
  • Participate in industry functions, exhibitions, and networking events to market our corporate gifting options.
  • Work closely with internal departments to personalize products and adapt offerings to suit the specific needs of corporate clients.
  • Manage corporate sales orders efficiently.
  • Supplier management duties which include product development and supplier negotiations.
  • Discover and aim for novel distribution avenues to expand product outreach and market presence.
  • Carry out market analysis to grasp industry trends, competitor approaches, and upcoming prospects.
  • Formulate and implement strategic initiatives for enlisting new distributors, retailers, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Cultivate and maintain robust connections with distribution partners, offering continuous assistance and training.

skills and experience required

  • Energetic personality with a willingness to work in a start-up environment
  • Fresh grads looking to explore a role in B2B sales welcomed
  • People in the hospitality industry (including cabin crews) welcomed
  • Comfortable with a client-facing role and is able to communicate well with mandarin speaking clients.
  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing or relevant discipline
  • Prior experience in business development and supplier management will be a bonus, albeit not required.
  • Results and sales-target driven
  • Willing to travel around locally to meet clients.
  • Confident in sales presentation and outgoing nature.
  • Adaptable and proactive mindset.
  • Driven and able to adapt to changes in a dynamic environment
