Business Executive

As a Business Executive, is responsible for overseeing business operations across departments. Their duties include hiring new staff, conducting office meetings and coming up with proactive strategies to improve productivity and employee morale.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
- Work on HR duties such as rules & policies.
- Prepared monthly Payroll & CPF submission.
- Maintain & update staff personal files.
- Prepare Employee Yearly Income Tax Submission (IRAS).
- Assist in preparing yearly financial reports.
- Collating and filing expenses.
- Assisted with the recruitment process by posting job ads, filtering applications, scheduling interviews, assisting in the interview process, and drafting offer letters.
- Prepare letters such as letter of employment, confirmation, acceptance of resignation, etc.
- Responsible for work pass related matters (WPOL & EPOL) such as application, renewal and cancellation of work passes for foreign workers.
- Assist in the preparation of documents and submitting the government grant application.
- License renewal & preparation of documents for submission.
- Administer staff benefits such as leave / MC records etc.
- Responsible for pre-onboarding, on-boarding and off-boarding of employees such as the acquisition of assets, first day orientation, employee confirmation and exit interviews.
- Copying, and scanning documents, as well as taking notes.
- Conducting or preparing any research that the director may require.
- Scheduling appointments, maintaining an events calendar, and sending reminders.
- Upkeep of office stationery & equipment such as photocopiers, pantry supplies, etc.
- Performed any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Management.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as business manager or relevant role
- Strong leadership skills
- Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, databases and information systems
- Ability to analyze company procedures to make improvements
- Ability to create work schedules and budgets
