Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Manager to manage all healthcare finance matters. This individual contributor role will focus on overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance within the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of healthcare finance and accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis:Lead the preparation and management of annual budgets and forecasts for the healthcare operations.
    Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities for cost-saving, and performance metrics.
    Provide actionable insights to senior management for financial decision-making.
  • Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management:Oversee the billing and collection processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency in revenue cycle management.
    Monitor and analyze accounts receivable, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of any discrepancies.
    Work closely with healthcare operations teams to optimize revenue generation and reduce billing errors.
  • Financial Reporting & Compliance:Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
    Ensure adherence to healthcare-specific financial regulations, including those related to reimbursements, insurance, and coding.
    Assist in audits and ensure all necessary documentation and reports are provided in a timely manner.
  • Cost Control & Efficiency:Monitor and evaluate operating costs within the healthcare environment to identify areas for cost-saving and operational efficiency.
    Work with department heads to develop financial strategies that align with organizational goals and enhance profitability.
    Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into discrepancies between budgeted and actual expenses.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting: Serve as a key point of contact for financial queries from healthcare teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
    Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior leadership, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs), financial risks, and strategic recommendations.
    Provide strategic guidance on financial matters to ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CFA, or relevant certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2-3 years of experience in healthcare finance or healthcare-related industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare financial regulations, billing, coding, and revenue cycle management.
  • Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
