Roles & Responsibilities

The Reception team is a vital component of the Skypark Sentosa team. The Receptionists are an important part as they have the unique ability to interact with guests in a more engaged manner which will leave deeper lasting impressions than that of some other positions. Receptionists should conduct themselves with good manners and a friendly smile when dealing with all guests. This position requires the team members to be customer friendly and detail-oriented at the same time, as there are many small factors that make up the entire Skypark Sentosa, from welcoming the guests and after they have completed the activities - each interaction is important to be on-point, factual and friendly while also being accommodating, not every situation will be the same.

Role and Responsibilities:

Daily Duties

  1. Arrive on-time and in uniform with covered shoes for each rostered shift.
  2. Welcome customers to the site, engaging them in a friendly manner.
  3. Attend daily briefings and other Frontline meetings as required, some of which can be outside of the standard hours of operation.
  4. Direct implement the pre- and post-sales ticketing soft and hardware checks, equipment inspections, and cash desk preparation at the beginning and end of each day's operations as outlined in the Reception Manual or directed by the Reception Supervisor.
  5. Direct implement the daily maintenance of cash equipment on the cash desk to the required level. Notify the Daily Reception Supervisor of any sub-standard equipment and assist with any equipment changes when required.
  6. Ensure the safety of all of our clients on site and in our activities, through following the tasks and procedures as outlined in the Reception Manual.
  7. Create and maintain a positive and entertaining environment for our crew and our clients, perform demonstrations of our activities (if required), and interact with and encourage visitors to the site to view and participate in activities.
  8. Maintain clear and concise communication across all crew departments.
  9. Ensure that all working spaces are kept clean, tidy, and presentable to our clients.
  10. Report any Incidents, Hazards, or Loss of Process to the Reception Supervisor as soon as possible.
  11. Assist Reception Supervisor in monitoring and maintaining the general email response to customers.
  12. Overlook the operations
  13. Assist other departments as and when required.
