Assistant Director, Learning

He/she is also responsible fordeveloping learning interventions to future-proof the University'sworkforce amidst the digital disruptions at the workplace byassessing current and future in-demand skills in addition toidentifying skills gaps via competency gap analysis.
Pertinent to this role is also the developmentand tracking of success metrices for evaluation of effectiveness oflearning interventions.
KeyRequirements
- Responsiblefor the full spectrum of talent development process from learningneeds analysis, developing learning plans, curriculum curation torolling out learning programs to develop Management and SupportOfficers' (MSO) capabilities.
- Create and drivemultiple learning methodologies in NTU by keeping abreast ofLearning & Development trends, ideas and innovation;introducing and incorporating innovative and appropriate learningmethodologies and technologies to facilitate learning anddevelopment, including gamification, Virtual Reality (VR),Artificial Intelligence (AI),
- Proactivelyreview and formulate learning strategy and framework/policies,based on industry practices
- Review and enhancelearning solutions in Workday, including building and expandinge-content to existing developmentsolutions
- Identify and establish partnershipswith external providers and relevant government agencies oninitiatives, funding, grants and sponsorships available in the areaof technology
- Source, implement, manage andevaluate the relevant learning interventions (including e-learning)and facilitators/speakers/trainers to meet learning needs inalignment with businessgoals.
KeyCompetencies
- Degree in HumanResources/ Business Administration orequivalent
- Minimum 8 years of experience in aLearning and Development role with proven track record ofachievements in areas such as developing leadership learningjourney or competency-based learningsolutions
- Preferably has at least 3 years ofexperience in conducting learning needs analysis, competency skillsgap analysis, training, and courseware/curriculum developmentexperience
- Strong stakeholder management,influencing and collaborationskills
- Proficiency in facilitating small tomedium size workshops and comfortable with publicspeaking
- Proficiency in data presentations inaddition to possessing data driven capabilities andmindset
- Experience with Workday is an addedadvantage
- Ability to develop solutions toproblems while balancing the risks & implications acrossmultiple projects
- Strong knowledge of thelatest trends and practices in the learning and developmentcommunity
- Conversant in web-learningtechnologies, learning management systems and others. Hands-onexperience in developing e-learning or virtual learning coursewarewould be an advantage
- Proficiency in MicrosoftOffice applications
