talenTtrust is an IPC-registered charity that exists to strengthen nonprofits and their impact through skills-based volunteering. We deliver a variety of capacity building programmes which place corporate volunteers alongside nonprofit leaders to support our vision of leveling up talent within the nonprofit sector to amplify good.
From our flagship 6-month Accelerator programmes to 1-day Workshops - all of our programmes are designed to upskill and help co-create strategic solutions for our non-profit partners' most pressing challenges.
Position Overview
We are excited to be adding a new Programme Manager to our growing team to help us deliver impact to our stakeholders. Reporting to the Senior Programme Manager, you will be responsible for scoping and delivering talenTtrust capability and capacity building programmes.
- Design, plan and facilitate capability building workshops in partnership with talenTtrust corporate and nonprofit partners.
- Facilitate and manage talenTrust skills-based volunteering programmes involving project management, project planning, facilitation, note taking and follow up.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with nonprofits and corporate volunteers during and beyond talenTtrust programmes.
- Assist with outreach and recruitment of nonprofit partners to build a healthy pipeline.
- Oversee the process of assessing non-profits suitability and scoping out clearly defined remits for each project or workshop.
- Contribute to the evaluation of talenTtrust’s impact through the collection of data and conducting follow-up meetings with nonprofits to evaluate programme outputs.
- Assist with managing existing corporate partner relationships such as reporting on project outcomes, corporate volunteer contributions etc.
- Actively contribute to the growth of TalentTrust through marketing and assisting in fundraising and volunteer appreciation events.
Candidate Profile
As a talenTtrust Programme Manager, you will be responsible for effectively delivering capability building projects, managing corporate volunteers, and supporting nonprofit leaders. This role is best suited to confident communicators, natural relationship builders and individuals that are happy to roll up their sleeves as part of a small team.
You will ideally have a background in the nonprofit / CSR space in related programme management roles. Given the nature of our work, you will regularly engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds, cultures and industries. Cultural sensitivity and empathy are vital skills in our Programme Managers.
We are a small team who work closely and collaboratively in the office and remotely.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 3-5 yrs experience in a relevant role such as managing projects / programmes in the nonprofit or CSR space
- Demonstrated strong project management experience, with the ability to run multiple capacity building projects from idea stage through to execution
- Outstanding relationship management skills with a successful track record building and maintaining strong business partnerships
- Confident communicator able to lead and facilitate meetings, presentations and manage a room of C-suite business leaders
- Highly organized and self-motivated with a high standard of delivery
- Excellent written communication skills
It would be advantageous in this position to for you to be able to demonstrate the following capabilities:
- Knowledge of Singapore's nonprofit / CSR sector
- Exposure to social impact methodologies
Other Important Information:
This is a 2-year contract with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent role based on performance. The salary range for this position is S$5,000 - S$5,500 per month.
